Poise: Balance Merge
Privacy policy
This policy covers the app Poise: Balance Merge, published by Sablebyte (an independent developer, sablebyte.com, listed on Google Play as Sablebyte.dev). Our other apps have their own policies, listed on the privacy page, which also covers the website. About the app: Poise.
What we collect
We do not collect your personal information. Poise has no accounts, no sign-in, no servers of ours and no analytics. We do not know who you are or how you play.
What stays on your device
Poise saves your best scores, statistics, achievements, settings (such as sound and vibration) and, for the daily challenge, the day you last played. This is stored only on your device. We never receive it. If you use Android's backup, Android may copy this data to your own Google account, under Google's backup settings and privacy policy, not ours.
Advertising
Poise shows ads through Google AdMob. To show ads, Google and its ad partners may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, your IP address (which gives an approximate location), device and app details, and how you interact with ads. We do not receive this information from them.
- Ads appear only when you choose to watch a reward ad, or between runs of a game. Never while you are playing.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app shows a consent form from Google before any ad is requested. You can change your choice later in Settings, under Ad privacy options.
- You can reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalisation in your Android settings (Settings, Privacy, Ads).
How Google uses this information: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and Google's Privacy Policy.
Children
Poise is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information. We have none to share. Any information handled by Google's advertising services is covered by Google's policies above.
Your choices and rights
You can delete everything Poise stored by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or by uninstalling the app, or use Reset progress inside the app. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. For questions, contact us below.
How long we keep information, and how it is deleted
We do not keep information about you, because we do not receive it. What Poise saves on your device stays there until you delete it: clear the app's storage in Android settings, uninstall the app, or use Reset progress inside the app. Information that Google's advertising services handle is kept and deleted under Google's policies above.
How we protect information
Poise keeps what it saves on your device, where your device's own protections apply, such as your screen lock and Android's separation between apps. We do not run servers that hold information about you, so there is nothing of yours for us to secure or lose. Information handled by Google's advertising services is protected under Google's policies.
Changes
We update this policy when Poise changes, when the services it uses change, or when the law changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and earlier versions are listed at the bottom of this page.
If we make a significant change, such as collecting a new type of information, using it for a new purpose or sharing it with a new kind of partner, we will tell you on this website before the change takes effect. If a change needs your consent, we will ask for it first, and we will not apply the change to information collected before it without your consent.
If you do not agree with an update, you can change your choices in the app's Settings where that option is shown, stop using the app and uninstall it, or contact us at support@sablebyte.com.
