Shadeslip: Lighthouse Maze

Terms of use

Effective 8 October 2026

These terms are between you and Sablebyte (an independent developer, listed on Google Play as Sablebyte.dev) and cover the app Shadeslip: Lighthouse Maze. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. Our other apps have their own terms, listed on the terms page, which also covers the website. How the app handles information is in its privacy policy. About the app: Shadeslip.

Using the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Shadeslip on your own devices for your own non-commercial use. Please do not copy, modify, resell or reverse engineer the app (except where the law allows it), and do not use cheats, tools or scripts that interfere with it or with other people's use of it.

Shadeslip is not directed to children under 13.

Ads

Shadeslip shows ads through Google AdMob. The only ad is one optional video that you choose to watch after the beam catches you, to carry on from where you were. Nothing appears between levels. We do not choose or control the advertisers and do not endorse what they advertise.

Accounts and purchases

Shadeslip has no accounts and no in-app purchases.

Ownership

Shadeslip and its content are owned by us or used under licence, and are protected by copyright and other laws. Open-source parts of the app stay under their own licences.

No warranty

Shadeslip is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise that it will be free of errors, that it will work on every device, or that what it saves will never be lost, for example if you clear the app's storage or uninstall it.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits any right or liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Ending

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may change or stop the app, and we may end your right to use it if you break these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when we add features, change how Shadeslip works or need to follow new laws. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and earlier versions are listed at the bottom of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell you on this website before it takes effect, unless it has to happen sooner for legal or security reasons. Changes do not apply to anything that happened before they took effect. If you keep using the app after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app and uninstall it.
